Review Process

Materials in the database undergo an extensive review process. Initially, a reviewer with content knowledge in the relevant domain reviews the material, using specific criteria. The Field Editor then examines the material and the draft review, ensuring the draft follows a common format for all reviews entered into the database. Reviews may undergo minor revisions in the editing process, after which the final review is published via the TE-MAT web site. NSTA may also repurpose some reviews for use in its NSTA Recommends website (http://www.nsta.org/recommends).
